After graduating from Colorado College, Justin moved to Chicago where he worked on commercials and indie films in various capacities before making the leap to L.A. He took a job managing a busy commercial casting facility, and his eyes were opened to the world of commercial casting. In 2004, he was invited to become partner and casting director at asg casting, inc., where he cast many high-profile, award-winning projects with some of the most creative and successful directors and creative teams in our industry. In 2014 Justin co-founded Camera Left / Stage Right, a collective of industry professionals committed to teaching actors how to improve their audition technique. At the onset of the pandemic, Justin co-created the web-based app TheWaitingRoom, a contactless system for actors to check into auditions. He has served on the Board of Directors of the CCDA/LA since 2016 and is currently serving as president of the organization for the 2024-2025 term. Justin is dedicated to the CCDA’s mission of educating the CCDA members about the forces and trends that shape our industry.
